- Student Caucus
The Center for Gender Studies has a Student Caucus comprised of both undergraduate and graduate students interested in influencing the Center's teaching, research and program activities. The Student Caucus plans activities of specific interest to students and provides a voice in the direction of the Center for Gender Studies. For example, members of the Student Caucus co-organize the Feminist Lives/Queer Trajectories series. In addition, representatives from the Student Caucus serve on the CGS Board of Directors. - The Experience of Women at the University of Chicago Project

Students and faculty of the Center for Gender Studies are beginning work on a major history of the role and experience of women at the University of Chicago. We are seeking alumnae and others who would be willing to be interviewed for the oral history component. These oral histories along with archival research from the university library will form part of a collection edited for alumni, faculty, and current students.

The generous support of alumni and donors helps the Center for Gender Studies offer quality programs and critical fellowships to students of Gender Studies. The Center thanks and salutes all of its contributors. Gifts of all sizes are accepted to help fund the dissertation writing fellowship. If you are interested in making a donation or funding a fellowship, we urge you to contact us. We are currently working to make online donations possible.
